Earning models
Two ways to earn through Fixer Station
Coordinator-presented work
Our coordination team presents opportunities from commercial and residential clients, either at your hourly rate or as a fixed fee for a defined scope. You decide whether to accept each one. Opportunities vary and are not guaranteed.
Quote requests
Our team invites you to quote specific projects. You estimate the hours needed, and your quote is your estimated hours multiplied by your hourly rate. Materials are reimbursed at cost. If selected, you get the job.
Your hourly rate
Your starting hourly rate is confirmed with you before you register, and you can discuss your rate with your Fixer Coordinator at any time.

What you need to get started
These are eligibility requirements for platform participation — not employment conditions.
Valid legal work authorization in the United States
Pass a background check during onboarding (one-time $24.99 fee)
Your own tools and transportation
Completed W-9 form
Commercial General Liability insurance: minimum $300,000, naming Fixer Station LLC (and any client designated by Fixer Station) as additional insured, with primary and non-contributory coverage and a waiver of subrogation
Any licenses or permits required by law for the services you perform. Licensed-trade work (HVAC, licensed plumbing, licensed electrical, roofing, structural) is not offered through the platform.
Demonstrable experience in your service area
Need insurance?
Texas Fixers can get Commercial General Liability coverage through the licensed insurance partner available in the Fixer Station app. Fixers in other states can use any licensed insurance provider.

All individuals working through the Fixer Station platform operate as independent contractors and retain full control over how they perform their work, including tools, methods, scheduling, and business operations. Fixer Station facilitates job opportunities through its platform but does not direct, supervise, or control work performance.
There is no guarantee of opportunities or minimum compensation. Service Fees are not wages, salary, or hourly employment compensation. Independent contractors are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws.

Brand usage
Independent contractors working through Fixer Station may not represent themselves as employees, agents, or representatives of Fixer Station LLC, or represent that Fixer Station performs or guarantees their services.
